They are the ideal pumps for all process applications in industry, but irreplaceable in the chemical and chemical-pharmaceutical industry for the suction of vapors from drying, distillation, evaporation processes, etc. The absolute lack of oil allows the solvents to be condensed and recovered without any external pollution. The single-stage screw technology without contact of mechanical parts makes Saturno pumps silent, robust, extremely reliable and with a long life without maintenance. All internal parts in contact with the process have Teflon PFA anti-corrosion coating. This special coating allows the customer not to replace the screws, but simply perform a new coating, with significant savings. The screws have an internal cooling system which, combined with the jacket on the pump body, allows the temperature of the pump to be controlled, adapting it to the needs of the different processes. Furthermore, the pump is certified for temperature class T4 without any flow limitation. The flow rate of the pumps can be modified by acting on a frequency variator (inverter) that can be installed on the motor electric: this allows for accurate control of the operating vacuum. Saturno screw vacuum pumps can be assembled in series with roots vacuum pumps in order to improve the ultimate vacuum, while increasing the sucked volumetric flow rate.
